He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Elizabeth MacRury and Rev. Ian MacRury; children: Kiara and Brendan; sister: Marita MacRury Easton; grandchildren: Natalie Elizabeth Madill and Vanessa Sylvia Madill; cousins: Anne Griffiths (Jonathan) and Malcolm MacRury (Julie); ex-partner/mother of his children: Jan Freeman (Tom Waram); other: Tom; and many cousins, family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Turner Family Funeral Home (53 Main St, Dundas, ON L9H2P7).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Alastair memory are invited to make a donation to Fighting Blindness Canada or to a charity of their choice.
