He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Hines; and his grandson Sammy Hines. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Mekli (Andy), Joseph Hines (Helen), Judy Hines and Chuck Hines (Maryanne); his grandchildren, Rachel Mekli, Andrew Mekli (Alex) and Lori Prince (Kyle); and his great grandchildren, Trey Mekli, Jack Mekli, Landon Prince and Theo Prince.
