It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Albert Edward Jones (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Beryl; his parents, Fred Jones and Ivy Jones; and his siblings, Bob, Fred, John and Ivy Fernihough.
He is survived by: his children, Eleanor Gallaugher (Brian) and Alan (Patrice); his daughter-in-law Linda Jones Versluis (Bert); his sister-in-law Peggy Macnab (late Gordon); and his friends, Alan, Barb Olsen and Joyce McMurray (late Gary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the L. G. Wallace Funeral Home (151 Ottawa St N, Hamilton, ON L8H3Z2). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nativity (1831 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V8). A reception will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens (1895 Main St W, Hamilton, ON L8S1J2).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Hamilton-Burlington SPCA, or the World Wildlife Federation or the Church of the Nativity would be appreciated.
