He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathleen; his parents, Michael and Ellen; and his brothers, Cornelius, Ambrose (Rita), Eugene (Dympna) and Michael (Kathleen).
He is survived by: his wife Helen Ann McLeman; his children, Michael, Ann, Margaret and Maureen (Dan Vella); his grandchildren, Elise and Ewan; his sisters, Margaret (Peig), Monahan (Charles) of Clonfert, Galway and Mary Anne Maguire (Jackie); and his close friend Patrick Slattery.
