He is survived by: his wife Emilia; his children, Ulisses (Lisa), Nina Sandra Devolder (late Tom) and Andy (Jill); and his grandchildren, Sarah, Logan, Sofia Devolder, Alex Devolder, Owen, Joshua and Caleb. He is also survived by his many family members and friends.

I first met him as a child when we arrived in Canada in 1969 when he accompanied my dad to pick us up at the airport. I will always remember his warm smile and happy disposition.
