She was predeceased by: her husband Bill James; her parents, Wilhelm Nitschke and Wilhelmina Nitschke; and her siblings, Elsie Mallon, Ida Buckland, Arthur, Ivan, Roy and George.
She is survived by: her son James Adam (Helen); and her grandsons, Michael Adam and Matthew Adam. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
