Aliyah Cunning-Riley Obituary

On Saturday, September 27, 2025, Aliyah Catherine Diane Cunning-Riley passed away at the
age of 16, surrounded by those who loved her deeply and always will. Aliyah was born on July 29, 2009, and from that day forward, the world was blessed with a kind soul and a gentle heart. She had a creative spirit, finding joy in sculpting and drawing. Her love for animals inspired her dream of working in rehabilitation, a reflection of the compassion and
care she carried for all living things.
In her 16 years, Aliyah touched countless lives, bringing light and warmth to everyone she met.
She will continue to live on in the hearts and cherished memories of her family and friends. Aliyah is lovingly remembered by her father, Mansel Riley; Jeanette and her children, Ishaan, Jayan, Aiden, and Cheyenne; and by her mother, Brianna Cunning, and brother, Jacob. She is
also survived by many more family members on her mother's side. On her father's side, she will be remembered by her grandparents, Nana Diane and Brian, and Poppy Steve and Cheryl; her great-grandparents, Mansel Sr. and Eleanor Riley, and Jean-Claude Dumont; her great-aunts and uncles, Glenn Riley, Shannon Riley-May, Francine
Bechard, and their families; and her Aunty Holly, Uncle Justin, and cousin Lennon. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who provided such
compassionate support in her final days. In lieu of flowers, donations in Aliyah's memory may be made to your local animal rescue,
humane society, or rehabilitation center.
Aliyah's gentle spirit and kind heart will live on forever in the memories of those who love her.
