He was predeceased by: his fathers, Anastasios Tsakos (Stan) and Thomas; his parents-in-law, Theodor and Sofia; his sister Ourania; and his siblings-in-law, George and Agapi.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Sofia (Ali), Thelma (Steve) and Thomas; his grandchildren, Anastasia, Gerry, Nikolas, Matthew and Andrew; his sister Maria; his brother-in-law Greg (Aliki); his cousin Koumbaroi; his uncle Zisos; and his nephew Kosta. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
