It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angela Borreggine (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Angela Borreggine to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vittorio Borreggine; her children, Vito, Mary Genovese (Tony), Frank (Diane) and Joe (Agata); her siblings, Lucrezia, Riziero Tesone, Carmela, Vincenzo Fortunato, Rosa (Armando Carelli), Palmina (Francesco Gargaro), Michele (Lucia Gallo) and Peppino (Ida Gallo); her parents, Francesco Gallo and Angelina Barnaba of Bari, Italy.; and her in-laws, Giuseppe, Domenica Borreggine, Gino, Teresa Borreggine, Anna and Matteo Scarpetta.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Matthew-Ross, Taryn, Sophia (Patrick), Joseph and Bianca.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Home (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (620 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W1B3).
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
