He was predeceased by: his parents, Michele Stefano and Maria Di Stefano; his siblings, Giovanni and Anna Vella; his parents-in-law, Antonio and Angela Del Gatto; and his siblings-in-law, Giacomo Del Gatto (Rosa) and Vincenzo Del Gatto.

He is survived by: his wife Carolina; his children, Michael (Renée) and Marilyn Stratford (Shaun); his grandchildren, Serena, Matthew Di Stefano, Sierra and Stefan Stratford; his siblings, Lucia (late Giovanni Socci), Antonio and Carla Rosati; and his siblings-in-law, Rosa Sabadin (late Oliviero), Mario and Rose Del Gatto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
