Anita Marie (Daoust) Kalyn Obituary
The memory of Anita Marie (Daoust) Kalyn (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Leo Paul, Bernard, Lucette and Jean Pierre. She is survived by: her spouse Cecil Kalyn; her children, Suzanne Langford (Tim) and Michael Kalyn (Angela); her grandchildren, Tyler (Emma), Riley, Jack Langford, Chelsea (Shaun), Nickolas and Sydney Kalyn; and her siblings, Lucien, Eugénie, Alice, Louise and Marcel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home (146 Mill St N, Waterdown, ON L0R2H0). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
If desired, donations in memory of Anita may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or Operation Smile Canada, a charity close to Anita's heart that provides cleft lip and palate surgeries to children in need around the world.
