With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Maria (Bettoni) Genovese (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her spouse Nicola; her parents, Angelo Bettoni and Teresa Bettoni; and her in-laws, Francesco and Carmela Genovese.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Giancarlo (Luciano), Frank Genovese (Kim) and Daniela Genovese; her grandchildren, Antonella (Michael), Julianna, Nicolas (Kayla), Paul (Hannah), Lucas (Julia) and Isabella; her great grandchildren, Mila, Annabelle and Redford; and her pet Ginger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lord Parish (280 Limeridge Rd W, Hamilton, ON L9C2V2).
