We bid farewell to Anne Geraldine Smiley (Hamilton, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 7, 2025 at the age of 91. Anne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; and her siblings, Larry, Paul, Tom and Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Larry, Brian, David (Dianne), Catherine Anne (Ron Edwards), Peter (Deanne), Susan (late Bill) and Joe (Julie); and her brother James (Shirley).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Homes (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek, ON L8J2W9).
Donations to the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
