He was predeceased by: his spouse Fiorigia Gizzarelli; his parents, Luigi Gizzarelli and Maria Gizzarelli; his brothers, Mario (late Fernanda) and Rocco (Teresa Mastroveto); his parents-in-law, Vincenzo and Martina Corsini; and his spouses, Rosina Chiaravalli (late Alderino), Lida Carmerlenga (late Antonio) and Elia Chiaravalle (late Antonio).

He is survived by: his children, Luigi and Martino Gizzarelli (Maria); and his sister-in-law Elisa DiSabatino (late Pasquale).

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church.
