He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Pia, Truus (Ad van Nieuwenhuizen), Teun (Ans Sterk) and Maurits (Wilma Sterk); and his children, Arie and Whitney Sterk. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Tallman Funeral Homes (3277 King St, Vineland, ON L0R2C0). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Vineland Cemetery (4025 Martin Rd, Vineland, ON L0R2C0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Maranatha Free Reformed Church (1114 Old Mohawk Rd, Hamilton, ON L9K1J9).
