He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marta Ottogalli; his daughters, Sonia (Fred Baldassi) and Doris (Larry Melidoniotis); his grandchildren, Josephine Baldassi (Mirko Zdravkovic), Marc Baldassi, Emily Melidoniotis (Nathan Santos), Alex Melidoniotis (Chloe Spadetto) and JD Deonarine; his great grandchild Djordje Zdravkovic; his granddaughter Serena Tara Baldassi; his parents, Vittoria Bertossi and Fiorendo Ottogalli; his sisters, Alice (Augusto Cianetti), Maria (Albano De Clara), Fiorinda (Lino Muzzin), Angelina (Antonio Buttignol) and Adelia (Cosimo Balice); and his siblings-in-law, Luigi Asquini (Santina) of Italy, Nives and Guerino Moretto.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel Ltd. (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (165 Prospect St N, Hamilton, ON L8L6X8). An entombment will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
