He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Brian Smuk (Jennifer), Elaine Brand (Paul), Grampa, Jessica, Zachary Smuk and Kaiya Brand; and his siblings, Suzanne Sanclemente (Vic), Andrea Bell (Richard), Dana and Nanette Smuk.
If desired donations to the McMaster Children's hospital would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
