He was predeceased by: his parents, John Davern and Leona Davern. He is survived by: his wife Edith Davern; his daughters, Janet Bedell (Duane) and Brenda Bedell (Kevin); his grandchildren, Cyrus, Somer (Nick), Brayden (Staci) and Kaylee (Tyler); and his sisters, Rita (John), Claire and Joanne.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Luke's Roman Catholic Parish (200 Mt Albion Rd, Hamilton, ON L8K5S9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernie's honor to Food 4 Kids located in Stoney Creek Ontario.
