She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Alexander Cowan; her siblings, June Barbara Martin (late John), Dennis William Clewley, Arthur John James Clewley and Victor Herbert (Harry); and her siblings-in-law, Alice and Alexander Simpson.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Cowan and Craig Cowan (Michelle Cowan); her grandchildren, Matthew (Tia), Neil (Kathy), Dean and Sarah; and her great grandchild Landon.
