She was predeceased by: her child Terri-Lynne (Greg); her grandson Ty Daniel; her parents, Verny Harrop and Thora Harrop; and her parents-in-law, Don and Mary Walters.

She is survived by: her son Derek (Andrea); her grandchildren, Shelby (Jamie), Amanda (Ryan), Brodie (Alicia), Robert (Alex), Jacob and Alexander; her siblings, Gord (Karen) and Corinne (Chris); and her friend Marnie Beckman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2).
