He was predeceased by: his father Ken Smith. He is survived by: his mother Doreen Smith; his brothers, Larry and Randy; and his nieces and nephews, Devin, Ryan, Michael, Danielle (Marilyn Smith), Jacquelyn and Cameron (Wendy Smith).
In lieu of flowers donations are being made to Samantha and Emily in Trust with Sarah for their post secondary education. "Some people seem to fade away, but when they are truly gone, it's like they didn't fade away at all" Bob Dylan.
