He was predeceased by: his wife Ana; and his siblings, Ivica Nastav (family: Joe Nastav) and Stefica (Nikola). He is survived by: his daughters, Milica "Emily" Novogradac (Joe) and Mary Kolich (Vlado); his grandchildren, Eddie (Joanna) and Brian Novogradac (Danielle); his daughters, Nicole Ellerker (Derek), Adrianne Marini (Michael) and Michelle Gentile (Aldo); his great grandchildren, Chloe, Alexander, Benjamin Novogradac, Evan, Dylan, Calla Novogradac, Jacob, Jonathan Ellerker, Anabelle and Alessia Marini; his sister Kohanic (family: Ljubica Jelacic); and his family Lovnicki.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Croatian Church (1883 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V9). A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
