He is survived by: his wife Sandra Isabel Smith; his sons, John Douglas Smith (Amy) and Scott Curtis Smith; his grandchildren, Joshua, Alec, Frances and Owen; and his siblings-in-law, Sherry O'Keefe, Gord Dean and Bill Dimmick. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Turner Family Funeral Home (53 Main St, Dundas, ON L9H2P7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
