It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calogera Lina Macaluso (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Salvatore; her brothers, Frank Bono (late Evelyn) and Carmelo Bono (Anne); Nicolo Macaluso (Angela), Josephine Brucculeri (Salvatore) and Vince Macaluso.
She is survived by: her children, Grace Macaluso (Don Lajoie), Larry Ciapanna (late Josie) and Rosa Macaluso (late Salvatore); her grandchildren, Philip (Daniella), Christopher (Kathy), Daniel (Monica), Celine (Jon), Marc and Sarah (Louis); her great grandchildren, Lorenzo, Vittorio, Mila, Victor, Aurora, Harlow and Samuel; her siblings, Sam Bono (Josephine) and Melina Giglia (Alfonso); her friend England; and her caregivers, Shelly Sinclair and Christine Priest. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
