She was predeceased by: her husband Barry; her brother Bob Hilchey; and her father Leslie St. Clair. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nathan Hotte, Carter Havenaar and Gavin McCormick; her nieces and nephews, Julie McIntyre, Lisa Hilchey, Jason Jordan and Michael Jordan; and her mother Dora Hilchey of Middleton.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home (146 Mill St N, Waterdown, ON L0R2H0). A reception will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:45 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home Family Centre (146 Mill St N, Waterdown, ON L0R2H0).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada in memory of Carolyn.
