She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Leone and Vincenzo Leone; and her brothers, Philip Leone, Ignazio Leone (late Judy) and Peter Leone (Pierette).

She is survived by: her husband Francesco Fornasa; her daughter Mary Fornasa; her granddaughter Ann Marie; and her sisters, Antonia Amodeo (late Nicolo) and Mary Zeffiro (Emilio). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and godchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Home (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Friscolanti Funeral Home Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). An entombment was held on Thursday, February 5th 2026 at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
