With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlie Destro (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on September 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso and Michelina; his parents-in-law, Carmela and Calogero Mule; and his siblings, Gasparino, Carmelo (Guiseppina), Alfonso (Marianna), John, Marianna Mattina (Paul) and Carmelina Mattina (Giuseppe).

He is survived by: his wife Stella; his daughters, Michelle Lanza (Peter) and Carmelina Destro (Rick); his grandchildren, Nicholas (Michaela), Johnny, Michael, Kristian (Mackenzie), Alyssa and Gianna; his brother Sam (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Maria, Genoeffa, Lina Manta (Giuseppe) and Lidia Mattealino (Calogero). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
