She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Al Thompson; her children, Janet Anne Hannah, Robert Hannah and John Hannah; her son-in-law Mike Cumbo; her children, Kathleen Cumbo (Graham), Stephen Hannah (Lilly), Kelly Hannah (Don), James Hannah (Michelle), Michael Hannah (Guilda) and Zara Pounder (Kirk); and her daughter-in-law Loretta. She was also cherished by family and the many friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to McMaster Children's Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
