We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Chrisanthi Koutalos (Hamilton, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Athanasios Koutalos (Tom). She is survived by: her children, Zoitsa Harney (Brian), Theo Koutalos (Juni) and Julie Cousens (Greg Parker); her grandchildren, Christian Shields (Andrew), Jake Cousins (Yukiko Hayamura), Thanasi Koutalos and Akira Koutalos; and her great grandchildren, Emmett Shields and Miyaka Cousens.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (22 Head St, Hamilton, ON L8R1P9). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Woodland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Chrisanthi's memory to the St. Peter's Hospital Palliative Care Program, in honour of the incredible care she received.
