He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald Thompson and Lila Thompson; his child Laurie Thompson; his grandchildren, Kyrstin Melanson, Avery Thompson and Evan Witzel; his siblings, Barb Worster and Jean Kirkpatrick; his great grandchild Mason Melanson; his nieces, Sarah Holland and Rebecca Kirkpatrick; his nephew Philip; Irene Pratt (Thompson).
