He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Young and Agathe Young. He is survived by: his wife Denise Young; his siblings, Mildred Pinet of Paquetville, Lester of Burnsville and Gordon (Micheline) of Montreal, Quebec.; his children, Greg (Darlene) of Fenelon Falls, David (Sharon) of Thunder Bay and Jody (Lars) of Toronto; his grandchildren, Julia (Mitchell) of Meaford Ontario, Kelsey (Ross), Renee of Grand Forks, BC, Lars Emil and Maja; his great grandchildren, Lily and Gibson; and his nieces and nephews, Jackie, Louise, Billy, Gary, Linda, John, Alison, Corrine, Tyler and Tracy.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton General Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society and Heart and Stoke Foundation, would be greatly appreciated.
