She was predeceased by: her husband Fernando; her parents, Beatriz Duarte and Joao Furtado; and her sister Silvana Martins. She is survived by: her children, James, Lawrence Sousa, Rita D'Agnillo (Nino), Fernando Jr. Sousa and Mike Sousa; and her siblings, Maria Tavares and Idalina Rebello. She is also survived by family and many dear friends.
