Concetta Castiglione Obituary

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the St. Peter's Residence at Chedoke, on Monday, April 17, 2023 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore for 66 years. Loving mother of Connie Burgess (the late Dan), Joe (Susan), Jim (Linda), and Anthony (Carmela). Much loved Nonna to Robbie (Annette), Lisa (Gord), Tina, Michael, Tonya (Shawn), Sam (Ashley), Christina (Andrew), Lucus and Bis-Nonna to many great grandchildren and great- great gandchildren. Survived by her sister-in-law Shirley Campisi and predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Bruno and Lina Campisi, Tom Campisi, Antonietta and Salvatore Sferrazza, Florence and Chris Falbo, Alfonso and Concetta Castiglione and Rosa and Calogero Licata. Concetta was an employee of Porritt's and Spencers for over 25 years. Concetta will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Peter's Residence at Chedoke for their compassionate care. Visiting at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James), on Wednesday, April 19, from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Vigil prayers on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Pauda Church on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
