It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Concetta (Scime) Franchi (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatrice Scime and Lorenzo Scime; and her siblings, Giaeinto (Angela Scime) and Pina (Eduardo Scime). She is survived by: her husband Domenico; her stepchildren, Stephanie, Kevin O'Brian, Mara Hernandez, Stephano Franchi and Mary Martin; and her siblings, Francesca (Calogero Licata), Phillip (Nancy Scime), Angela (Sam Cino), Lucy (Richard Meijer) and Carmelo (Lori Scime). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the All Souls Church (21 Barton St W, Hamilton, ON L8L1A2).
