He is survived by: his wife Vicki Sikora; his child Joelle Sikora; his brother Mike Sikora (Cindy) of Victoria, BC; his brother-in-law Doug Broadribb Jr. (Mary); his uncle Fred Ellis; his nieces and nephews, Allison, Taylor and Shane (Ally); and his great-nephews, William and Noah.

Within the last few years, Dan struggled with Parkinson's Disease, at which time he found comfort in watching his favourite TV shows and sports.
