He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Thornborrow and Cheryl (McKinnon) of Hamilton; and his sister Jaylene Rother (Tom) of South River. He was also cherished by his extended family, friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Perkins Centre (1429 Main St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1C2).
