He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Balsdon and Myrtle Balsdon; and his brother Garnet Balsdon. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Balsdon; his children, Tonya Balsdon (Ryan Ibbott) and Ryan Balsdon (Cristin Kelly-Balsdon); his grandchildren, Evan Ibbott, Avery Ibbott, Riley Balsdon and Liam Balsdon; and his siblings, Sharon Jakabffy, Dale Rae and Wendy Mooney.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre (100 King St E, Dundas, ON L9H1C4). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (1140 King St W, Hamilton, ON L8S1M1).
