He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlington Willrich and Marjorie Willrich; his siblings, Vern Willrich (Jean), Ron Willrich, Bob Willrich and Carol Miller (Graham); and his brothers-in-law, George Krikorian (Doris) and Abe Krikorian (Val).

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Gary Willrich (Joanne), Dawn Parente (Fred Oliff) and Brian Willrich (Myrna); his grandchildren, Jennifer Lane (Rob), Marcus Parente, Eddy Parente, Kyle Willrich (Cindra), Brittany McDonald (Andrew) and Emily Shaw (J. D.); his sisters, Arlene Bailey (late Jim) and Donna Turner (Tom); and his sister-in-law Sharon Willrich. He is also survived by his cousins, many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
