It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diana Mary Gillyatt (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Diana shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Diana farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jim Buckenham and Lorna Buckenham; her husband Basil; her children, Marian, Rosalie, Nicola and Roderick; her sister Sylvia Corrie; and her family Styrofoam.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home (146 Mill St N, Waterdown, ON L0R2H0). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
