She was predeceased by: her parents, Arba Heacock and Doris Heacock; her sister Fay Powers; and her sister-in-law Beverly Heacock. She is survived by: her brothers, Wayne Heacock (Beverley) and Gary Heacock; her husband Gordon; her children, Allan and Shannon (Chris Weston); her grandchildren, Chloe, Max and James; Ryan, Matthew and David. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). A burial was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at the Urn White Chapel Memorial Gardens (1895 Main St W, Hamilton, ON L8S1J2).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
