He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Crossman and Annie Crossman; his in-laws, Marinus and Wendy Groen; his siblings, Rosalee (Bill Andrus), Herb Crossman, Joyce (Ross Mitchell), Don Crossman and Kathy (Wilf Gliddon); and his brother-in-law Ron Hannaford.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (Elly Groen); his children, Sheila, Tom Busch, Rob, Paul, Zora, Ryan and Leanne; his brothers, Art and John (Sharon); his sister-in-law Louise; his niece Linda; his nephews, Steve, Kevin and Mark Mitchell; and his in-laws, Adriana, Greg Hatton, Andrew, Shelley Groen, Peter, Teresa Groen and Lorraine Hannaford. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
