He was predeceased by : his parents, Eric and Grace. He is survived by : his wife Joyce; his children, Sandy (Brad), Carol (Ron) and Erica (Steve); his stepchildren, Lorretta (Mike), Jason (Lesley) and Vern (Tricia); his grandchildren, Jake, Avery, Kirsten, Jack, Kelly, Keith, Luke, Daphne and Ella; and his siblings, Wayne (Wanda) and Leah (Lionel). He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.

Due to COVID-19, all events are restricted to a specified number of attendees.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug's memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the VON.
