As we bid Douglas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Douglas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Sandra (Glen), Michelle (Mario), Kim (Rob) and Lisa (Jean); and his siblings, Roy, Bob, Jim and Pat. He is also survived by Papa and Grandpa to his 11 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Homes (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4).
