He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his stepdaughter Gail Peters (Passmore); and his siblings, Frances John (Norsworthy), Thomas, James, Robert and Noreen (Dunn).
He is survived by: his parents, John Gleeson and Sarah Gleeson (Usher); his nieces and nephews, Colleen, Carole, Kim, Patrick, Daniel Gleeson, Cathy Dunn, Marian Dunn, Laureen Donnachie, Janice Coughlan, Dennis Norsworthy and Crystal Wilcox; and his cousin Jim Lloyd (Eleanor). He is also survived by nephew and three nieces in the UK as well as numerous great and great-great nieces.
