The family announces the passing of Elaine Brookes (Hamilton, Ontario) on August 31, 2026. Elaine, born on June 21, 1950, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Elaine will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honour Elaine by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Elaine is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Elaine’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: husband: Jack; sons: Andrew (Alcides), Noel (Jackson); brother: David Stewart; nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Abe), Christopher, Lori, Tommy; great nieces and nephews: Souraya, Abie, Heather (David), CJ; other: Pam, Brad; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and cottage family.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM and on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Clark Funeral Chapel (567 Upper Wellington St, Hamilton, ON L9A3P8).
