Eleni Sulug Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleni Sulug (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tanas Kotsiou and Lika Krstevski Kotsiou; and her brother John Krstevski Kotsiou. She is survived by: her husband George; her sons, John (Lilly) and Joe (Christine); her grandchildren, Thomas, Julia, Matthew and Marcus; her siblings, Flora Bermarija (Frank) and Kris Krstevski Kotsiou (Patricia); her siblings-in-law, Nitsa Krstevski Kotsiou, Lika Krstevski Kotsiou, Anica Ilijanic (late Steve), Marica Hrstic (Ranko) and Vladimir Sulug; her friend Macedonia; and her caregiver Barbara.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). A prayer will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Luke's Roman Catholic Parish (200 Mt Albion Rd, Hamilton, ON L8K5S9). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1S9).

Memorial donations can be made to ALS Canada or Holy Cross Croatian Parish, (Hamilton) or St Naum of Ohrid Macedonian Church (Hamilton), would be appreciated by the family.
