She was predeceased by: her parents, Tamaye Kawazoye (Nakazawa) and Harumi Kawazoye; her spouse Fumi Kobayashi; and her siblings, Hiroshi, Sam (Ruby), Francis and Joan (late John Browning).
She is survived by: her niece Cathy (Doug Onishi); her daughters, Anne (Jason Manett) and Laura (Kyle Brown); her grandchildren, Mikko, Matti, Lucy and Levi; her sisters, Ruth (Gord Mori), Helen (late Lorne Stone) and Marjorie (Jim Quinn); and her sister-in-law Michi (late Yuki Koike).
