He was predeceased by: his daughter Lena Ranger; his granddaughter Krystal Ranger; and his siblings, Fern Ranger (late Eileen), Theresa Burns (Rodney) and Richard Ranger (late Georgina).
He is survived by: his wife Muguette; his children, Theodore Ranger (Margaret), Colette Lanto (Terry Marck) and Carmen Piett; his grandchildren, Craig Ranger (Stephanie), Andrew Lanto, Chelsey Lanto, Bailey Lanto (Jaden Ruicci), Jaime Piett, Emily Piett and Corrine Piett; his great grandchildren, Kairi Lanto, Skylar Simpson, Elizabeth Ranger and Penelope Ranger; and his siblings, Simon Ranger (Judy) and Rachelle Hazelwood (Tim). He is also survived by his cousins, nieces, nephews and many, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton Chapel (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (620 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W1B3). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (254 Garner Rd W, Ancaster, ON L9G3K9).
In lieu of flowers a charitable donation can be made to the Ronald McDonald House in honour of Krystal Leigh Ranger.
