The family announces the passing of Emily (Bodnar) Borsc (Hamilton, Ontario) on August 29, 2026. Emily, born on May 21, 1952, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Steve; her parents, Steve and Vera; and her brother Tom. She is survived by: her sons, Brian (Kim) and Tom; her grandsons, Jeremy and Christopher; and her friends, Glenda Carter, Marlene Johns, Angie Talosi, Leona Cabaj, Sue Borsc, Svetlana and Alex Wolfstein. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Markey Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
