It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernesto Aquino (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Ernesto had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Ernesto may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his wife Connie; his parents, Ida Aquino and Fiore Aquino; and his brother Francesco. He is survived by: his sons, Francis, Anthony and Carman; his grandson Curtis; Brenda Vanderhayden.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM and on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L 2V7). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM and on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM.
